Teacher Talk Tuesday

It's Election Day! Get Out And Vote...But Remember...

Good Morning Y’all,

Today, as we cast our votes and our voices are heard, let's pause and reflect on a truth that goes beyond politics, beyond party lines, and beyond the ballot. No matter the outcome of today’s election, what remains vital is our shared humanity, our respect for one another, and our commitment to something higher than our disagreements. Let’s be reminded of God’s word, “Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭133‬:‭1‬.

#Unity

In the midst of differing opinions and deep divides, we can still choose to embrace civility and grace. We can seek to build bridges rather than walls. We can acknowledge that we all long for the same things at our core: peace, security, purpose, and a better future for those who follow in our footsteps.

So, let’s let today be a beginning rather than an ending. May we honor each other as neighbors, friends, and fellow citizens, choosing kindness over judgment, unity over division, and love over bitterness. As we move forward, let us commit to showing the world that America is not defined by its divisions but by its resilience, faith, and compassion.

Today, we have an opportunity to be part of a great uniting. Let's take that step together, praying for wisdom and courage to live out unity as a testament to the world. May God bless each of us and bless this nation.
