Ring in 2025: Rock Your Goals with Energy, Inspiration, and Epic Tunes!
Good Morning Y’all,
READY FOR CHANGE IN 2025? I know what you’re thinking, “Not another New Year’s Resolution message.” I’m sure that’s all you’ve seen while on break these past few days and weeks—in your social media feeds, on TV, and even on your favorite podcasts. But y’all… there’s no better time than now to change your life for the better. And deep down, you know it.
Just think of the advancements in your personal development you can have in just 365 days. The potential is phenomenal! Let’s dive into it…
As alwyas, if you find this info helpful, please share it with your teacher bestie!

Happy 2025 Y’all!
Let’s start with your teaching goals.
Setting goals for your classroom in 2025 can transform not only how you teach but also how your students learn and grow. Maybe this is the year you try a flipped classroom approach, implement more project-based learning, or work on building a stronger classroom culture. Whatever your focus, your dedication will impact every student who walks through your door.
Think of the ripple effect. When you set and achieve your goals, you create a classroom environment where students feel motivated, challenged, and inspired. Your efforts don’t just help them learn the material—you’re teaching them how to dream big and work hard to achieve their own goals. And when your students are thriving, your fellow teachers can’t help but notice. Suddenly, your determination becomes a catalyst for change in your entire school.
But let’s not stop with the classroom. Your personal goals are just as important because when you’re thriving, every area of your life benefits.
Imagine committing to your health this year. Maybe it’s a goal to walk 10,000 steps a day, hit the gym three times a week, or simply drink more water. By next December, you could be feeling more energized, confident, and resilient.
Or how about financial goals? Maybe you want to build an emergency fund, pay down a credit card, or invest in something that’s been on your heart. With intentional planning, a year is plenty of time to make significant progress.
And let’s not forget your spiritual and relational goals. Maybe this year you want to spend more time in prayer, reconnect with old friends, or set aside a regular date night with your spouse. Relationships and faith are the foundations of a fulfilling life, and the work you put into them this year will echo for years to come.
3 Tips for Setting Goals
Make Them SMART:
Your goals should be Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. Instead of saying, “I want to get healthier,” say, “I’ll work out three times a week and drink 100 ounces of water daily.” Specificity gives your goals direction and purpose.Write Them Down:
Putting your goals in writing makes them tangible and gives you a reference point. Better yet, place them somewhere you’ll see them daily—on your bathroom mirror, your desk, or as the background on your phone. Seeing them regularly will remind you of what you’re working toward.Set Micro-Goals:
Break your big goals into smaller, more manageable steps. For example, if you’re saving $5,000 this year, start with $417 a month or about $14 a day. Smaller steps feel less overwhelming and give you opportunities to celebrate along the way.
3 Tips for Staying on Track
Build Accountability:
Share your goals with a trusted friend, colleague, or family member who will encourage you and check in regularly. Better yet, find someone with similar goals so you can support each other.Track Your Progress:
Keep a journal, spreadsheet, or app where you can document your milestones. Seeing your progress, even if it’s small, keeps you motivated and helps you adjust when things aren’t working.Anticipate and Plan for Setbacks:
Life happens. You might miss a workout, overspend, or skip a prayer session. Don’t let one misstep derail your entire plan. Have a mindset that allows for grace: “I messed up today, but tomorrow I’ll get back on track.”
What Am I Doing You Ask?
As 2025 begins, I’m kicking off another round of 75 Hard to get my mental, physical, and spiritual legs back under me. This program has been a game-changer in the past, helping me push past limits I didn’t even know I had, and it’s time to lean into that discipline again. After 75 days, I’ll evaluate whether to continue with the full-year challenge, Live Hard, but either way, this year is about reclaiming my peak shape and reigniting the habits that fuel my best self. Who knows—2026 might just hold an ultra marathon in its grasp, and if it does, I’ll be ready to charge boldly into that challenge. #LIfeGoals
Bottom Line Y’all…
365 days may feel like a long time, but it’s really not. It’s a series of small, consistent decisions that add up to monumental change. Imagine the impact you could have—not just on your life, but on your students, your family, and your friends—by setting and sticking to your goals this year.
By next December, you could look back on 2025 as the year you transformed your life. Your students will see a teacher who leads by example. Your family will witness the dedication and love you pour into them. And you? You’ll see someone who had the courage to dream big and follow through.
Let’s make 2025 a year of growth, grit, and grace. Set your goals, stay on track, and don’t stop believing in the incredible potential inside you.
Stand strong. Charge boldly. Let’s go!
